Where to Use Hello Sunshine Thoughtfully — Not Automatically

Small hoop sizes: Hello Sunshine fits comfortably in 4x4" hoops at reduced scale — but avoid shrinking below 3.2" wide. Tiny lettering loses clarity, especially on textured fabrics.
Dark fabric: Test thread colors thoroughly. A pale lemon yellow vanishes on navy unless you add a white underlay — check your stabilizer layer before stitching.
Stretchy garments: Use cutaway stabilizer and basting stitches. Hello Sunshine’s smooth curves can warp slightly on knits if tension isn’t balanced.
Thick towels & dense weaves: Increase needle size (90/14) and reduce speed. Dense stitch areas — particularly where letters curve inward — benefit from two layers of tear-away stabilizer.
Metallic thread: Avoid unless you’re experienced. Hello Sunshine’s flow relies on consistent stitch coverage — metallics tend to skip or break in longer satin runs.
Curved caps & tight seams: Not ideal. The design’s horizontal emphasis doesn’t adapt well to crown curvature — save it for flat panels only.
